According to FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education), more than 170 foods have been reported to cause allergic reactions in the U.S. Nearly 11% of people 18 or older have food allergies, and nearly 8% of children have food allergies. Studies published in 2018 and 2019 tracked specific foods, and while there may be 170 foods that could be a problem, this list shows us the top 9 that caused symptoms of allergic reactions.
